Cookie policy
Effective date: 1 October 2026
Luminary Space sets no cookies. This page explains what that means in practice and what, if anything, is recorded when you visit.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, and that the browser sends back to the site on later visits. Cookies are used for things like keeping you signed in, remembering settings, and tracking visitors across pages or across different websites.
This site sets no cookies
Luminary Space does not set any cookies of its own, and it does not allow any other company to set cookies through it. Specifically, the site has:
- no analytics or visitor statistics tools;
- no advertising or remarketing tags;
- no tracking pixels or conversion tags;
- no social media buttons, embedded posts or videos;
- no sign-in, shopping basket or session identifier.
Because nothing is set, there is no cookie banner or consent pop-up on this site. There is nothing to consent to, and a banner would wrongly suggest otherwise.
What is recorded instead
The web server that hosts this site keeps ordinary server logs. Each time a page or file is requested, the log records the requesting IP address, the browser's user agent string, the address requested, and the date and time. This happens on the server and involves no cookie or anything stored in your browser. The logs are kept for 30 days for security and fault diagnosis, as described in the privacy policy.
The site loads no fonts, scripts, images or other files from any outside service. Its typefaces are the ones already installed on your device. No third party therefore receives a request from your browser when you read these pages.
No other browser storage or fingerprinting
Cookies are not the only way a site can store information in your browser or recognise you. This site uses none of the alternatives either: no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB, and no browser fingerprinting, which is the practice of identifying a visitor from the combination of their device's characteristics. The site's single script file only opens and closes the navigation menus, and you can read it in full at /assets/main.js.
When you leave this site
If you follow a link to another website, including the affiliate link to a vendor's site, that site and any affiliate network involved may set their own cookies under their own policies. This policy does not cover them. You can check what they do by reading the cookie or privacy policy on the site you arrive at.
Managing cookies in your browser
Whatever sites you visit, you remain in control of cookies on your own device. Every major browser lets you view and delete stored cookies, block cookies from particular sites, block third-party cookies generally, and clear everything when you close the browser. These options are usually found under the privacy or security section of the browser's settings, and each browser's help pages describe the steps. Blocking cookies will have no effect on how this site works, because it does not use them.
If this ever changes
If the publisher ever decides to introduce a cookie, or any tool that sets one, this page will be updated to name it and describe its purpose, and a working consent mechanism will be in place before any non-essential cookie is set. Nothing will be added first and explained afterwards.
